मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के गोमती कला कुंज (डीवीपीए आर्ट गैलरी) में एक अनूठी पेंटिंग, मूर्तिकला और डिजिटल कला कृतियों की प्रदर्शनी ’अभिव्यक्ति’ का आयोजन किया गया। यह कला कृतियां दृश्य और प्रदर्शन कला विभाग (डीवीपीए) एवं राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रदर्शित की गई।
कुलपति प्रो. केवीएसएम कृष्णा ने भारी तालियों और उत्साह के साथ प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया और कुलसचिव प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा व निदेशकों और विभागाध्यक्षों के साथ प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। कुलपति ने कहा कि कभी-कभी जिन विचारों को हम शब्दों के माध्यम से व्यक्त नहीं कर पाते हैं, उन आंतरिक विचारों को व्यक्त करने के लिए पेंटिंग सही माध्यम है। प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा ने मानव जीवन पर चित्रों और मूर्तियों के महत्व को बताया। सभी नवोदित कलाकारों ने जिज्ञासु आगंतुकों के समक्ष अपने विचार और प्रत्येक कलाकृति की पृष्ठभूमि के बारे में बताया। प्रदर्शनी में मूर्तियां कुछ खास थीम पर आधारित थीं, जिसमें लैंडस्केप थीम पर आधारित पेंटिंग बेहद आकर्षक और आंखों को सुकून देने वाली थीं। सभी कलाकृतियों पर बेहतरीन डिजाइन और रंग योजना के अनुप्रयोगों ने दर्शकों को आकर्षित किया। एनएसएस की यूनिट वन की कार्यक्रम अधिकारी व विभागाध्यक्ष डा. पूनम रानी ने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय की इस अनूठी पहल के तहत भारत के प्रसिद्ध कलाकारों की विभिन्न कला कृतियों को प्रदर्शित करने की योजना है। एनएसएस के कार्यक्रम समन्वयक प्रो. सिद्धार्थ जैन ने स्वयं सेवकों के प्रयास की प्रशंसा की। इस अवसर पर डीन मानवीय संकाय प्रो. जयंतीलाल जैन, डीन अकादमिक प्रो. उल्लास गुरुदास, प्रो. आरके शर्मा, प्रो. अब्दुल वदूद सिद्दीकी, लव मित्तल और सभी विभागाध्यक्ष उपस्थित रहे।
